In this class, you will learn to apply specific touch therapy techniques to different parts of the body so you can help friends, family or clients with a range of symptoms. Bowenwork is easy to learn and gentle on the people who receive it. Participants will practice on each other to learn ways to:

  • Ease breathing difficulties
  • Relieve muscle tension, joint pain, or stiffness
  • Ease heartburn, reflux and other digestive complaints
  • Relieve neck, back, and knee pain
  • Address injuries

Class cost is $115 (includes sales tax). Class fee includes a printed, illustrated manual. Participants will practice on each other. Bowenwork will be performed through clothing. No prior experience with Bowenwork or other touch therapy is required.

Professionals in massage and other manual therapies will receive 4 CE credits, approved by NCBTMB. Bowenwork is a stand alone technique that is most often practiced professionally by occupational therapists, massage therapists, physical therapists, naturopaths, and nurse practitioners, among others.
